Private Patrick Lane Private Patrick Lane (Company A) was from New Haven. He enlisted September 15, 1861 at what is now called Bayview Park in New Haven. He died in August 15 1862 a few weeks after the regiment left the malaria infested area opposite Vicksburg and was buried at the Chalmette National Cemetery outside New Orleans.

Private Lane is a family ancestor of Patrick Sisk.
